County: Rockingham County
Sighting Date:
Wednesday, July 26, 2006
Location:Borderline of Shenandoah National Park and behind Coors Brewery on 340
Physical Traits: It was so close, and it smells so bad, especially fresh, like when you first kill a skunk, a fresh musk, I`m pretty sure it sprays a musk, like the extinct giant sloth
Activity:Eric wanted to see the bed for sure, said he thought it might have spooked his dog last night. At 6:30 we walked up that trail from that road and hit the borderline of the national forest. We weren`t there 15 minutes before the first rock was thrown. I have never been so scared in my life. Now I know why you have that van. I know why you have the cameras now. I`m never goin back. Fuck that man, That rock could have killed either of us. I had taken a bottle of liquid smoke marinaid to hope to bait it in. At this point i dragged eric back down that trail crying dumping the marinaid everywhere. We were right beside the creek when the rock was thrown. I`m sure it was in the creek. Theres a small cabin very close to there, an old hunting shack. We went back to a fence on the trail that leads back to the road, maybe 500 yards. Eric said man, i just can`t believe it, so we walked up the creek bed. I had done stupid things. But that is something I will never do again. I took him to the bed, 45 minutes there, 45minutes back. right when we got back to the little shack where we climb up outta the creek back onto the trail another rock almost hit us, i cried out so loud, screamed, eric jumped under a bush, he blew this party squealor i took the end off of hoping it would act as an ultra sonic whistle. We ran up to the shack, the peanuts i had left there for him, just like last time, were gone this time. the musk smelt so fresh, he must have been waiting at that shack eating peanuts, sniffing the trail of that liquid smoke. we ran down the trail got to the fence right past the fence another rock hit. we kept running, im crying right now Bill. I dont like this. as we ran down the mile and half long road the creek bed parallels it. the houses lining the creek had dogs barking out the ass. right before we got to the concrete bridge that crosses over the creek we smelt the musk one last time. ohh god, hes in our territory now. I broke his law. we trespass, he trespasses. Bill, I`m scared, If I end up missing, kidnapped or mauled, you tell my story. Please Bill.
Setting:from 6:30 pm till 9:00 pm, getting dark fast, same creek bed as before, god im so scared right now. every light in the house is on
Witnesses: Eric Hedgepeth, my neighbor, he thinks it may have come to his house last night so came with me to see the bed at the creek
